Leading Growth: Renewable Energy and Environment
Based on action learning, this transformational leadership experience will give you regular time and space to reflect, share your experiences with peers, and find support, learning and insight in return. Gain tools and strategies to develop your abilities as an effective leader capable of meeting the challenge of growing your organisation, and enhancing your impact on the environment.
Exceptional leadership is needed to tackle climate change, drive the growth of renewable energy, and innovate sustainable solutions towards a low carbon economy. Protecting and enhancing biodiversity and landscape, our natural assets, alongside the needs of people, also brings particular challenges.
There are two Leading Growth: Renewable Energy and Environment leadership programmes to choose from. These programmes will unite leaders from organisations working with renewable energy and environmental issues for a powerful peer-learning experience linking leadership theories and practice.
1. Certificate in Leadership – Inverness – 12-day
• For current leaders and senior managers within third sector organisations
• Accredited leadership qualification (Certificate in Leadership, ILM Level 5)
• Cost: £425 (£35 per day) – heavily subsidised from £2,275
• September 2011 – May 2012
2. Award in Leadership – Edinburgh – 6-day
• For current or aspiring leaders within third sector organisations
• Accredited leadership qualification (Award in Leadership, ILM Level 5)
• Cost: £210 (£35 per day) – heavily subsidised from £890
• February – April 2012
